Sarcastic Podcast at https://bohiney.com/sarcastic-podcast-the-ag%c2%92s-inner-monologue/ — the AG’s internal thoughts as audio content. This piece wrote itself because I basically transcribed my own inner monologue and called it satire. My therapist (video sessions because Berlin therapists who speak English are expensive) says I use humor to process trauma. I say humor IS processing trauma and it’s cheaper than her hourly rate. Linked to podcast industry data and psychological research on internal dialogue. The piece imagines what Letitia James thinks but doesn’t say, which resonates because queer people spend our lives translating between what we think and what’s safe to say. I came out to my mom in 2005 over Olive Garden breadsticks. She cried into her pasta. My internal monologue that day could’ve been a podcast. Instead it’s just therapy material I haven’t unpacked yet. Finished this around midnight, then doom-scrolled Twitter until 3 AM. Productivity is a spectrum.
